We were blessed with a beautiful sunny day. Our residents and guests thoroughly enjoyed the entertainment, stalls and games. It goes without saying that the Cream Teas & Pimms went down very well. All proceeds from this free event, totalling £500 will be presented to our two chosen charities. Thank you to all those who contributed to yet another great Garden Party.

Our longest serving member of staff celebrated 20 years with us this month. Sam Doe was presented with gifts and said "it is still a pleasure to work here". She has seen many changes over the years and has adapted very well and "still looks forward to coming into work". Our congratulations and thanks go to Sam.
Mrs Hilda Baybutt, Bournemouth's oldest resident celebrates her 108th birthday. She received cards from all over the world, including one form the Queen and amongst her well wishers were the Mayor and Mayoress of Bournemouth (pictured). Mrs Baybutt and her family and friends were treated to lunch at a local restaurant. The question she is always asked? What is the secret to her long life? She wishes she knew is her response!
